Also, the number of coins received after watching an ad is doubled from 20 to 40. These red coins are worth 5 normal coins. Unlike normal coins, they are red with a yellow "c" (normal coins are yellow with a red "c"). ![]() During runs, special red coins will appear, along with the normal coins. When unlocked, 1000 additional coins will be obtained for the player to use. The Piggy Bank is the first character to be unlocked only through purchase. In similarity to the Bith is open, revealing small teeth, tongue and it has the basic same build that resembles an anatomically incorrect pig. The Piggy Bank has a line on the back of its body for the coins and money bills that it stores. It also has smaller eyes, and noticeably the legs are slightly shorter as well. For example, the Piggy Bank is more of a dark pink colored mascot than the Big Fat Pig. Next Buzz Lightyear unlocks a toy world, and so on as I realize every film has its own environment to navigate.īetter still, characters unlock at a good rate with only 100 coins needed to get a new one and coins regularly gifted to you… though of course you can pay if you are inpatient or really want a specific character.The Piggy Bank looks similar to the Big Fat Pig, but has a few differences. My second character is Rapunzel from Entangled, and suddenly the world is completely changed into knights and other medieval items. It is only when I start unlocking more characters that I realize the variety Disney Crossy Road injects. ![]() Starting with Mickey Mouse himself, I am treated to the typical road crossing gameplay: trying to hop through busy traffic, work my way around trees, and using logs to cross rivers. Bringing in Disney stars from all manner of movies, each one is a beautifully blocky representation of a familiar face. Where Disney Crossy Road does mix things is with its characters.
